Megan Daas grew up in Centerville, MN
watching her father strive to create the perfect picture with a 35mm camera.
In school, art was the only subject that could keep her attention. So she
attended Brown College, received a degree in visual communications, and began
working as a graphic designer. She spent her free time exploring the outdoors
and finding beauty in everyday objects. Her growing hobby complicated things
in the graphic world. After editing numerous photos behind her boss' back,
she came clean with the company. She left graphic design for a career in
photography and hasn't looked back since.
She uses her acquired design skills in every photograph. Photography teaches
her patience. Today, she continues to freeze time in the busy world around her,
capturing mainly weddings, nature, children and landscapes. She loves the
challenge of combining time, weather, light and color to create the perfect photograph.
