Alex Peters has dabbled in art for quite some time, starting at the ripe old age of six. His grandmother introduced him to acrylics and in his words "taught him everything he knows about that medium". Later he learned to paint with oils, which is one of his favorites, but now he's moved on and taken an interest in drawing with pencil, conté crayon, and ink. Alex has received two 2nd place awards, 2007 & 2008, in the Youth Art Division at the Minnesota State Fair, while taking 3rd place in 2006. His current interests include drawing portraits and hands. Alex is a featured artist at Uptown Images, and a true entrepreneur!
